Montclair, NJ – The No. 9/12 Montclair State men's soccer team welcomes Stockton University Saturday evening.

LAST TIME OUT

The Red Hawks (10-1-1, 4-0-0 NJAC) notched their sixth straight clean sheet as they topped TCNJ 3-0 on the road last Saturday. Rookie AMER LUKOVIC tallied two goals before JANBI KAGHADO capped off the scoring with two seconds left in the contest.

In the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll, the Red Hawks moved in a pair of national polls. They climbed to No. 9 in the d3soccer.com, and No. 12 in the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 Polls.
 
AWARD SEASON

Junior JOSIAH CRAWFORD was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Player of the Week after scoring twice against Kean, while Lukovic gained NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the second time.

SCOUTING THE OSPREYS
The Ospreys enter the match with an 8-4-1 record, including a perfect 4-0 mark in the NJAC. In their last five games, they are unbeaten and have surrendered just one goal over the previous six contests. Stockton downed NJCU 5-0 Wednesday, receiving two goals from Joseph Carbone and Ervin Gjeli.
 
LAST MEETING

In their season-opener last spring, Montclair earned a 1-0 victory over Stockton on March 10, 2021. JANBI KAGHADO, who went on to win NJAC Offensive Player of the Year honors, scored with 5:08 left in the second half for the lone goal of the day. Goalkeeper SHANE KEENAN made two saves to gain the victory.
 
SERIES HISTORY

Montclair is 27-17-7 all-time against the Ospreys and has recorded at least a win or draw in 12 consecutive games. Stockton last won on October 23, 2010, winning 2-1 in overtime. The Ospreys haven't won at Montclair since a 4-2 decision on October 12, 2005.
