Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State men's soccer team hosts Washington College in the Second Round of the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament.

LAST TIME OUT
Montclair blanked Gordon 1-0 in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament Saturday afternoon. The teams sat through an 80+ minute weather delay before AMER LUKOVIC scored his team-leading 17th goal of the year on a PK in the 51st minute. Both teams tallied seven shots, and Montclair State goalkeeper SHANE KEENAN made point-blank saves in the 71st and 76th minute to preserve the clean sheet.

SCOUTING THE SHOREMEN
Washington College won their first-ever NCAA Tournament game last night, topping St. Lawrence University 2-0 in the First Round. James Strine and Greg Adams tallied goals while Anthony Pinto made six saves. The Shoremen sit at 14-4-1 this season and knocked off Franklin & Marshall and Gettysburg College to win the Centennial Conference Championship
for the first time.

NCAA HISTORY
Montclair is making its 20th overall appearance in the Division III Tournament and 14th in the last 17 seasons. MSU
made three trips to the College Division Tournament in 1968, 1969, and 1972. Montclair State is 27-22-1 overall in those previous 23 appearances, including a 24-19-1 mark in its Division III berths. That record includes a trip to the
Final Four in 2011 and Elite 8 berths in 2007, 2012, 2013, 2018, and 2019.

LAST MEETING
Montclair and Washington met earlier this season, with Montclair notching a 3-1 victory on September 5. AMER LUKOVIC
scored twice, and JANBI KAGHADO tallied a goal in the victory. ANDRES LEZME earned the win that day and did not have to record a save.
