Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State women's swimming and diving team topped Kean University 103-79 in New Jersey Athletic Conference action Tuesday evening.
After
JULIE TIEDEMANN grabbed second in 11:30.86 in the 1,000-freestyle, sophomores
LIDIA BOGUSLAWSKA and
MOLLY MOORE went 1-2 in the 200-free. Boguslawska clocked in at 2:06.4 while Moore touched the wall in 2:12.62. It was another 1-2 finish for the Red Hawks in the 50-freestyle, with Ciaravino winning in 26.43 and
SKYE SENER taking second in 26.68.
Rocheleau tallied a first-place time of 1:00.16 in the 100-butterfly while Skopp-Cardillo recorded a top mark of 56.49 in the 100-free. Montclair also placed second in both events, with Juliet DiPasquale taking second in the 100-fly and Shopovick getting it in the 100-freestyle. They finished their scoring by claiming the top-three spots in the 100-backstroke.
ERIN BARRETT was first in 1:04.43, Sener was second in 1:06.27, and Boguslawska was third in 1:07.7.
The Red Hawks return to the pool for the three-day Franklin & Marshall Invitational, which runs from November 19-21.
