Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State field hockey team had four players named Scholars of Distinction by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA).
Junior KATELYN OSTERLIND, sophomore LAUREN PICKUL and freshmen CARLY AMERMAN and CLAUDIA CHALLENDER were among the 450 student-athletes recognized by the organization. The Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2020-21 academic year.
The NFHCA has already announced the 2020 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad and the final 2020 NFHCA Division III Academic Award, the NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award, will be announced on March 29.
