Montclair State is still looking to break into the win column after coming up short against Salve Regina last Saturday. The Red Hawks trailed at the half and were down 17-0 early in the third when it began its comeback bid. Quarterback
JA'QUILL BURCH put MSU on the board with a four-yard touchdown run midway through the quarter. Salve Regina answered with a TD, however, Montclair came right back as
MAKAI MICKENS side-stepped a few tacklers for a 20-yard touchdown cutting the deficit to 24-13. Montclair State pulled closer with 4:24 to play in the game as Mickens came through again with a 29-yard catch-and-run for a score with a Burch two-point conversion making it a 24-21 contest. But that would be as close as the Red Hawks would get as the Seahawks broke up a last-chance drive in the final minute. Mickens finished the day with 72 yards rushing along with 10 catches for 80 yards. Safety
MIKE RAMOS had a stellar day with 13 tackles, an interception, and a forced fumble.
