After earning an assist on the game-winning goal, freshman defender
IAN CHESNEY was named the NJAC Rookie of the Week. Chesney was also part of the backline that allowed just one goal over two matches last week.

In the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll, the Red Hawks are just outside of the top-25 and are receiving the second most votes among teams not in the top-25. The Red Hawks are fourth behind St. Mary's (Md.), NYU, and Rowan in the Region IV Regional Poll.

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair holds an impressive 54-10-3 record over the Gothic Knights dating back to the first meeting in 1959. The Gothic Knights' best stretch against Montclair came between 1964-1968 when they picked up wins in four of five matches. Montclair has won 11 consecutive matches in the series, their second-longest string of victories in matchup history. The Red Hawks have surrendered just four goals during the 11-game streak.
