Montclair, NJ – The No. 13/14 Montclair State men's soccer team hosts Rowan in New Jersey Athletic Conference play Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (8-1-3, 3-0-0 NJAC) notched a 5-2 triumph over Ramapo Saturday night. IAN CHESNEY scored a pair of goals while ANTHONY VIOLA, JOSIAH CRAWFORD, and JACOB BARTNIK added tallies in the victory. Goalkeeper BORIS DEL VALLE made six saves to earn the win.

SCOUTING ROWAN
The Profs enter the contest with a 4-3-3 record but are 0-1-2 in the NJAC. After falling 6-0 to NJCU in their opening game last week, they rebounded with a 2-2 draw against Rutgers-Newark on October 2.

SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks are 33-36-6 against Rowan and have picked up wins in four of the last six games. Montclair State is 18-15-4 against their South Jersey foes but is 26-29-5 in conference games.

LAST MEETING
Rowan tallied a 1-0 triumph in the NJAC Semifinals on November 3, 2021. Leo Montesinos netted an unassisted goal early in the second half, and the Red Hawks nearly equalized off a flurry in the 89th minute. RYAN CATALANO's shot with 2:05 to go was stopped before JACOB BARTNIK pinged one off the crossbar with 1:44 left.
