Women's Soccer: Gameday Preview vs. DeSales

Montclair, NJ – The No. 12 Montclair State women's soccer hosts DeSales University Saturday night.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (5-0-0) used two late goals to notch a come-from-behind victory over Ursinus last Saturday. Trailing 1-0, KERRI DRISCOLL launched a rocket from well outside the 18-yard box to tie the game in the 73rd minute. With 1:38 left, KIMBERLY CAMPBELL tucked a shot just inside the post for her second game-winning goal in as many games, and HALEY MARTIN preserved the win with a save with under a minute to go.

The Bulldogs are 3-1-1 on the year and are unbeaten in their last three. They topped Haverford College 2-1 in their previous game Wednesday and have notched three clean sheets on the season.

SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks are 0-2 against DeSales, dropping a pair of 2-1 setbacks in 2019 and 2021.

LAST MEETING
Montclair State fell 2-1 to the Bulldogs on September 15, 2021. DeSales got goals in the 5th and 58th minutes before ZOE STECK cut the deficit in half in the 61st. MSU could not find the equalizer, and the Bulldogs ended with a 2-1 victory.
