Tafuri Named to D3football.com Team of the Week

Montclair, NJ – Sophomore linebacker STEVEN TAFURI of the Montclair State football team was named to D3football.com Team of the Week Tuesday.

Tafuri blocked a punt late in the third quarter that was recovered at the Thiel three-yard line by teammate JALIL TERRELL. Terrell scooped it up and scored to push the Red Hawk's advantage to 20-6. The Red Hawks went on to win the game 27-6 behind a pair of rushing touchdowns from MAKAI MICKENS and a receiving score from CLARENCE WILKINS.

The Red Hawks return to action Saturday as they host nationally-ranked Delaware Valley at noon.
