Track & Field Gears Up For NJAC's At Fastrack Invitational

Staten Island, NY – The Montclair State track & field teams competed at the Fastrack National Invitational Friday afternoon.

MEN'S RECAP

Sophomore SAMAEL MILEVOIX had a strong showing in the 200, finishing in 29th place with a mark of 22.84, while ETHAN ARCE turned in a time of 24.59.
BECK DEENY reached 12.75m in the triple jump as JOHN GRIFFITH tallied a ninth-place throw of 15.37m in the shot put.
JOSEPH KOOMSON registered a personal-best throw of 13.14m in the weight throw, as MYLES DAY was sixth in the college long jump with 6.31m. ANTHONY HOLMES was 17th in 6.03m, with KEYSHAWN DIXON notching a top-20 distance of 5.97m.

WOMEN'S RECAP

MIA PEGUERO registered a PR in the triple jump, hitting a new mark of 10.02m, as TANIYA GILES grabbed fifth in the shot put. The rookie tallied a PR of 12.62m on her fifth toss.
SIDNEY WHETSTONE competed in the 200 (27.96), and the long jump (5.17m) as JEALYNE RAMOS turned in a time of 1:02.65 in the 400,
