Haverford, Pa. – JALANI JOSEPH, JOHN GRIFFITH, and JABEZ THOMAS collected as the Montclair State University men's indoor track & field team competed at the Seamus McElligott Invitational on Saturday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Joseph notched a win in the high jump, clearing 1.8 meters on his second attempt. His teammate, KEYSHAWN DIXON, was second with a height of 1.65m. Griffith posted a victory in the shot put, hitting 15.11m on his third throw. Thomas rounded out the winners in the triple jump, hitting 14.2m on his third leap.
• MYLES DAY placed third in the long jump (6.46m), with BECK DEENY (12.92m), SHELDON AGYEMANG (12.7m), and Joseph (12.59m) finishing in the top seven of the triple jump. Dixon placed eighth in the long jump (6.26m) with Agyemang (6.23m) and ANTHONY HOLMES (6.2m) right behind him.
• LAITH SALEH took fourth in the 60-meter hurdles (9.44) as NICHOLAS SCHAFFER (23.83), DANIEL ALSINA (24.04) and Holmes finished consecutively in the 200-meter. The Red Hawks' foursome of Alsina, DAMJAN DIMITROVSKI, COURTNEY ROGERS JR., and Schaffer placed in the 4x400 relay, registering a time of 3:32.6.
