College Park, Maryland – The Montclair State University men's swimming & diving team set the school records in the 200-medley relay after the first day of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships on Thursday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The quartet of DENNIS DELARGY, SPENSER DUBOIS, LUCAS GOMES, and MICHAEL WOJCIECHOWICZ turned in a sixth-place time of 1:33.43, shaving 3.30 off their entry time. They broke the original mark of 1:33.99, which was set by James Singewald, Kevin Clauss, Steven Roth, and Hunter Romanowski at the Metropolitan Championships in 2017.
- The Red Hawks closed out the day with a seven-place finish in the 800-freestyle relay. The grouping of MATT DETTLINGER, JOHN ENGLERT, ADRIAN GONZALEZ, and LUCAS MIGLIN clocked in at 7:12.29, besting their entry time by 6.63 seconds.
