Griffith Takes Fourth In Shot Put At AARTFC Indoor Regionals

Rochester, NY – Senior JOHN GRIFFITH of the Montclair State University men's indoor track and field team competed in the shot put at the AARTFC Indoor Regionals on Friday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Griffith, the Red Hawks' lone competitor on Friday, placed fourth in the shot put. After reaching 15.75 on his second throw, the senior launched 15.81m on his fourth try. Looking to move up in the national rankings, Griffith settled for fourth as his final throw was 15.75m.
Recently named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outstanding Athlete of the Year for indoor, Griffith sits 22nd in the country from his throw of 16.46m at the NJAC Indoor Championships on February 19.
