Men's Track & Field Closes Out Competition At Ramapo Season Opener

Mahwah, NJ - The Montclair State University men's track & field team wrapped up competition at the Ramapo College Season Opener on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

JOHN GRIFFITH placed third in the hammer, registering a mark of 47.81m. Griffith also took fourth in the discus, reaching an AARTFC Outdoor Regional qualifying mark of 44.33m.
BECK DEENY posted an AARTFC qualifying distance of 13.77m in the triple jump, finishing fourth. OWEN FOGARTY took second in the pole vault hitting 4.15m, as KEYSHAWN DIXON was fourth in the long jump with a distance of 6.64m. Deeny (6.46m) was sixth and MYLES DAY (6.19m) in the same event.
LAITH SALEH qualified for the finals of the 110-hurdles, registering a time of 17.43. DAMJAN DIMITROVSKI was seventh in the 400-hurdles, clocking in at 59.58, with QUINCY HARVEY (1:04.26) and SEBASTIAN MOREY (1:06.85) posting top-14 times.
The 4x400 relay squad of DANIEL ALSINA Dimitrovski, NICHOLAS SCHAFFER, and COURTNEY ROGERS JR. turned in a second-place mark of 3:25.19. The 4x100 relay team of SHELDON AGYEMANG, Alsina, ANTHONY HOLMES, and KEYSHAWN DIXON took fourth, recording a ime of 43.86.
Schaffer (52.21) and Rogers Jr. (52.92) posted top-10 marks in the 400m, as SEBASTIAN RUIZ was fourth in the 800 in 2:00.06. ANTHONY HOLMES took 15th in 200 (23.11), with Alsina right behind him in 23.36.
