Bethlehem, Pa. – The Montclair State University men's track & field saw the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams qualify for the AARTFC Outdoor Regional Championships at the Coach Pollard Invitational on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The group of ANTHONY HOLMES, NICHOLAS SCHAFFER, DANIEL ALSINA, and KEYSHAWN DIXON took fourth (42.54) to punch their ticket to regionals in the 4x100. The foursome of Alsina, DAMJAN DIMITROVSKI, COURTNEY ROGERS JR., and Schaeffer turned in a time of 3:23.11 in the 4x400/
• KAMAL KHAN placed fifth in the 5,000-meters, clocking in at 16:15.8. LAITH SALEH (16.24) and JOSEPH BIO (16.43) qualified for the finals in the 110-hurdles, with Bio taking seventh (16.21) and Saleh eighth (16.41).
• Schaeffer took seventh in the 400 (50.49), with Rogers Jr. behind him in 10th in 51.42. Dimitrovski finished seventh in the 800 (1:57.26) as SEBASTIAN RUIZ was behind him in 1:58.5.
• Dixon jumped 6.68m in the long jump to finish seventh, as Mohammad Abdallah (47.94m) and GABRIEL DAYON (47.39m) qualified for the javelin finals. JACK VERBEL (45.72m) narrowly missed the finals, as Abdallah and Dayon were seventh and eighth, respectively.
