Men's Track & Field Closes Out Lions Invite

Ewing, NJ – The Montclair State University men's track & field team closed out the Lions Invite on Saturday afternoon

HOW IT HAPPENED

·Montclair had two performers in the top-10 of the 400-hurdles. JOSEPH BIO (sixth – 56.06) and DAMJAN DIMITROVSKI (ninth – 57.82) recorded personal bests in the event. COURTNEY ROGERS JR. was 17th in the 400 (51.83) as NICHOLAS SCHAFFER took 24th in the 100 (11.59).
·DANIEL ALSINA and KEYSHAWN DIXON tied in the 100 (11.67) as KAMAL KHAN hit a PR in the 1,500 (4:09.75).
·In the field events, JOHN GRIFFITH notched a PR in the hammer throw (50.81) as ANTHONY HOLMES (5.95m) and BRYCE FOSTER (5.92m) went back-to-back in the long jump.

UP NEXT
The Red Hawks will head to Stockton University for the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships next weekend. The action on Saturday gets underway at 10 am.
