Women's Track & Field Finishes Up At Lions Invite

Ewing, NJ – The Montclair State University women's track & field team finished off the Lions Invite on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

·MICHELLE ITOUA posted a pair of top-16 times in the sprints. Itoua was seventh in the 100 (13.03) and 16th in the 200 (27.19). JEALYNE RAMOS took sixth in the 400 (1:00.86), as ODALYS GUERRERO-DOMINQUEZ (1:11.26) and AUBREY JOHNSON (4:56.79) were 11th in the 400-hurdles and 1,500-meter, respectively.
·JESSICA HOLLER (14.07) and LINDSEY CALIXTE (15.98) ran in the 100, while AMINA SYKES (29.25), Allahjah Young-Bey (30.07) , and BROOKE CHESNEY (30.55) competed in the 200.
·KAYLA MCADAMS (2:34.83) had a PR in the 800 (2:34.73) as ANGIE GONZALEZ had a season-best time of 2:50.06 in the 800m.
·MIA PEGUERO placed fifth in the triple jump (10.5m) and took 14th in the long jump (4.97m).

UP NEXT
The Red Hawks will head to Stockton University for the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships next weekend. The action on Saturday gets underway at 10 am.
