Ewing, NJ – Led by three top ten finishes in the javelin throw, the Montclair State University Women's Track & Field team opened competition at the TCNJ Invitational on Thursday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Red Hawks were led by a top five finish in the javelin throw by CALI RAE ONUSKA, who notched a mark of 35.76m to place fourth in the event. KAITLYN CHIRKIS (33.36m) and Camilla Revaitis (32.89m) ranked sixth and seventh, respectively, with IZZIE DECREASE placing eleventh at 28.64m.
- JESSICA HOLLER participated in the heptathlon, placing sixth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 17.12 seconds and 11th in the high jump with a mark of 1.30m.
INSIDE THE RESULTS
- Onuska's mark ranks 70th across Division III, marking a new career-best. The mark for Chirkis was a season-best.
