New Orleans, LA- Announced on Tuesday afternoon by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the Montclair State University women's outdoor track and field team stamped eight of its student-athletes on the All-Metro Region list in 2026.
The top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Athletic.net Descending Order Lists earned an All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, Northeast, South, and West – match those used during the cross-country season.

Alby (200m): 24.32 at the NJAC Championships on May 2. Second-best mark
Churchill (10k): 38:58.86 at the AARTFC Championships on May 13. Fifth-best mark.
Garcia (100m): 12.31 at the NJAC Championships on May 2. Tied for sixth-best mark.
Martinez (High Jump): 1.68m (5' 6") at the Ramapo College T&F Festival on March 27. Second-best mark
O'Neill (100m): 12.13 at the Osprey Open on April 3. Third-best mark
Riggins (100m Hurdles): 15.02 at the NJAC Championships on May 2. Eighth-best mark
Onuska (Javelin): 39.94m (131') at the Rick McCorkle Invitational on April 24
Alby, Garcia, O'Neill, & Rodriguez (4x100): 47.43 at NJAC Championships. Third-best mark
It is the highest number of student-athletes that received All-Metro Region recognition in program history.
Alby and Martinez qualified for the Division III National Championship meet and will compete starting on Thursday, May 21, in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
