Collegeville, PA – Montclair State University women's outdoor track and field sophomore MCKAY ALBY was at the forefront for the Red Hawks on the final day of the AARTFC Championships, earning a podium spot in three events on Thursday.  

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The 4x100 relay mashup of AISHA GARCIA, MAILE O'NEILL, KAELYN RODRIGUEZ, and Alby clocked a time of 47.71 that placed fifth among the field.
• After qualifying yesterday, Alby and O'Neill both raced in the 100-meter finals. Alby notched fifth-place with a time of 12.10, while O'Neill placed eighth with a time of 12.41.
• Alby wrapped up her stellar performance with her best one of the regional championships. In the 200-meter dash, she earned second with a sprint of 24.79.
• The 4x800 relay team of ODALYS GUERRERO-DOMINGUEZ, ABIGAIL CHURCHILL, LILIANA SNYDER, and MACKENZIE COCHRAN combined for a team time of 10:11.36.
• MICEL MARTINEZ was the lone field athlete of the day for the Red Hawks. She placed 11^th in the high jump with a height of 1.55m (5'1").

UP NEXT

• Those who qualify will advance to the NCAA Division III National Championship meet. The three-day meet is set to begin on Thursday, May 21, and is hosted by Wisconsin-LaCrosse.
