La Crosse, WI – The Montclair State University Women's Track & Field team competed at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday and Friday, placing a pair of Red Hawks in the field of competition.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MCKAY ALBY clocked in at 24.70 seconds in the event, placing 15th among the field. The time marked her second-fastest of the outdoor campaign.
- MICEL MARTINEZ competed in the high jump during the second day of competition, rounding out her strong freshman season.
INSIDE THE RESULTS
- With her appearance in the competition, Alby became the first Red Hawk to compete at the NCAA Championship on the women's side since Lia Negra in 2017.
- Alby became a Second Team All-American with her placement among the field, also becoming the first Red Hawk to earn the mark since Negra's performance in the javelin during the 2017 campaign.
