Foster, Holmes Tally Wins At Ramapo Last Chance Twilight

Mahwah, NJ – Sophomores ANTHONY HOLMES and BRYCE FOSTER posted wins as the Montclair State University men's track & field team competed at the Ramapo College Last Chance Twilight Meet Friday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Holmes tallied first place in 200, clocking in at 23.37. The mark edged second by .33 and was Holmes' second-fastest time in the event this season. In the long jump, Foster clipped teammate KEYSHAWN DIXON, hitting a personal best of 6.64m. Dixon took second with a mark of 6.62m.
JABEZ THOMAS qualified for next week's AARTFC Outdoor Regionals in the triple, placing fourth with a mark of 13.5m. The junior needed just one attempt to qualify and registered a season-best distance.
JOSEPH BIO placed second in the 400 hurdles, clocking in at 56.58 as DAMJAN DIMITROVSKI (1:56.38) and SEBASTIAN RUIZ (1:57.5) posted top-four times in the 800. KAMAL KHAN was fifth in the 1,500m in 4:09.43, while NICHOLAS SCHAFFER was sixth in the 400 in 51.13.

The two-day AARTFC Outdoor Regional Championships, hosted by SUNY Cortland, begins on Wednesday.
