Men's Track & Field Opens Up AARTFC Outdoor Regionals

Cortland, NY – The Montclair State University men track & field team began the AARTFC Outdoor Regional Championships on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The foursome of DANIEL ALSINA, ANTHONY HOLMES, DAMJAN DIMITROVSKI, and NICHOLAS SCHAFFER made the 4x400 relay team that took 12th overall. The quartet turned in a time of 3:22.8, which was the best time of the year in the event.
The 4x100 team of Holmes, Schaffer, Alsina, and KEYSHAWN DIXON notched the second-best mark in the event this season. They crossed the finish line in 18th place with a time of 42.9.
OWEN FOGARTY was the top performer in the field events, taking 15th in the pole vault. The senior reached a height of 4.23m. JOHN GRIFFITH competed in the hammer throw, registering a 20thplace throw of 48.45m.

The Red Hawks close out their slate on Thursday, as the second day of the AARTFC Outdoor Regional Championships begins at 10 am.
