Cortland, NY – The Montclair State University men's outdoor track & field team closed out the AARTFC Outdoor Regionals on Thursday afternoon.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• JALANI JOSEPH closed out his strong freshman campaign with a third-place mark in the high jump. The rookie hit a personal best on his final try, clearing 1.98m. Joseph was a solo third by virtue of hitting 1.98m on the first attempt, as three additional jumpers cleared it but in more attempts.
• BECK DEENY took fifth in the triple jump. After claiming Honorable Mention All-NJAC in the event, he closed out his junior year with a personal best distance of 14.09m. He surpassed his outdoor PR by .18m and his overall best by .03m.
• After his event was shifted to today, GABRIEL DAYON took 21st in the javelin. The newcomer hit 48.17m on his last throw, notching his second-best throw of the season. DAMJAN DIMITROVSKI placed 14th in the 800, clocking in at 1:56.81. Dimitrovski missed a PR by a mere .43.
• JOHN GRIFFITH threw in a pair of events to close out the performers for the Red Hawks. Griffith was 20th in the shot put (13.95m) and took 26th in the discus (42.42m).
