LAST TIME OUT
Montclair opened up the season on October 4 at the College of Staten Island Kick Off Invite, where they placed second of four teams competing with 112 points. The Red Hawks started with a runner-up finish in the 200-freestyle relay (1:41.54). The quartet consisted of ROURKE PERALTA, MADDY WISHNOW, TESSA DEVONE, and MADELINE ROGERS. Distance strength came from AMELIA FANNING, who finished third in the 1000 free with a time of 11:37.42. Devone placed second in the 100 back (1:02.31), and Peralta sprinted to third in the 50 free (24.66). Peralta also earned a third-place finish in the 100 free (54.57). MARIANNE TASSINARI secured third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:18.18. She also returned to the pool for another top-three finish when she placed third in the 200 back with a time of 2:18.39. Both medley relays saw a top-three finish. The 400 medley relay of Devone, SADIE CRISPELL, Rogers, and Peralta placed third (4:13.52), and the 200 medley relay, consisting of ABBY PANZARELLA, Crispell, Rogers, and Wishnow, finished third (1:55.20). Individually, Crispell touched the wall third in the 100 breast with a time of 1:11.80.
