Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State University women's basketball team and head coach Karin Harvey announced the program's 2025-26 schedule on Tuesday afternoon.
The upcoming campaign features 25 games, including 13 home contests inside the Panzer Athletic Center, 10 road matchups, two tournaments, and 18 NJAC games.
Montclair opens the season at home on November 7, hosting Albright. The Red Hawks then travel to Lehman on November 12 before returning to Panzer to face Delaware Valley on November 19.
NJAC play begins on November 25, when Montclair welcomes Rowan. The Red Hawks continue with four straight conference matchups—hosting William Paterson (December 3) and Rutgers-Camden (December 13), while visiting Rutgers-Newark (December 6) and Ramapo (December 10).
The Red Hawks will then head to Puerto Rico to compete in the Puerto Rico Clasico, taking on the University of Redlands (December 18) and Susquehanna (December 19). Following the trip, Montclair will host the Mike Scala Memorial Tournament on December 29–30, facing New Paltz on the 29th and Neumann on the 30th to close out 2025 and wrap up non-conference play.
The Red Hawks resume NJAC action in 2026, beginning with road contests at New Jersey City (January 7) and Kean (January 17). In between, they'll host Stockton (January 10) and TCNJ (January 14).
Down the stretch, Montclair will host Rutgers-Newark (January 24), Ramapo (February 4), New Jersey City (February 11), and Kean (February 14). Road matchups include trips to Rowan (January 21), William Paterson (January 28), Rutgers-Camden (January 31), Stockton (February 7), and TCNJ (February 18).
The NJAC Tournament begins with the quarterfinals on February 21, followed by the semifinals on February 24, and concludes with the conference championship on February 27. The NJAC champion will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Montclair State is coming off a remarkable 2024-25 season, completing the largest turnaround in all of Division III women's basketball — a 15-win improvement from the previous year. The Red Hawks finished 24-5 after going 9-16 in 2023-24, captured their eighth NJAC title in program history, and won their first NCAA Tournament game since 2018.
