Hampton, VA – VINCENT TERZO notched a new school record in the 500 Free to highlight top performances during the second day of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships on Friday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Terzo set the mark during the preliminary round of the 500 Free as he notched a time of 4:38.12. He finished eighth in the finals, clocking in with a mark of 4:40.76. RYAN KAPPES placed 13th with a time of 4:43.25.
• MICHAEL SALVATORI collected a new school record in the 200 IM with a time of 1:52.45, placing 17th in the field.
• The 200 Free relay team of LUCAS GOMES, MICHAEL WOJCIECHOWICZ, BOBBY FREECE, and PETER JARZAB placed fifth and notched a school record with a mark of 1:23.65.
• Gomes finished eighth in the 50 Free at 21.29, with Jarzab (21.68) and Freece (21.26) rounding out the group in the event.

The Red Hawks will continue NJAC Championship competition on Saturday, February 15, with the preliminary session slated for 9:30 AM and the finals beginning at 5:30 PM.
