Men’s Indoor Track & Field Completes Day One of NJAC Championships

Philadelphia, Pa.- The Montclair State University Men's Indoor Track and Field completed their first Day at the NJAC Championships on Saturday. The Red Hawks as a team, currently sit at seventh place with nine points

HOW IT HAPPENED

JAYSON ELLIS earned himself a spot in tomorrow's 60-meter dash with a time of personal-record time of 7.08.
In the long jump, the Red Hawks saw two student-athletes in the top six. SHELDON AGYEMANG posted a personal-best mark of 6.63m (21' 9") to place fifth in the event, followed by ELIAS HANLEY, who jumped 6.59m (21' 7.50") for sixth place.
CAMERON COOPER led the way for Montclair in the 60-meter hurdles when he clocked a personal record of 8.76 that placed 11th.
In the shot put, MATTHEW HAILU had the highest mark for the Red Hawks at 11.75m (38' 6.75") which placed 13^th among the field.
In the 4x200 relay, Montclair's quartet of Agyemang, ANTHONY HOLMES, MILES ALLEN, and Hanley clocked an overall time of 1:31.44 to place seventh among the field.
