Biffot Earns First Team All-American Honors; Places Third in Triple Jump at NCAA Championships

Nazareth, NY – HIVEN BIFFOT placed third in the Triple Jump at the 2024-25 NCAA DIII Championships for men's track and field on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Biffot started the event strong with a mark of 15.10m on his first jump, placing him in a tie for the lead in the event after the second flight. His second jump of the preliminary round came in at 14.75m.
He jumped 14.56m to open the finals, as he still maintained the lead through the fourth round of jumps. His final two attempts came in at marks of 14.43m and 15.05m, as he placed third in the event.

His mark of 15.10m set a new personal best, surpassing his previous mark of 14.82m at the AARTFC Championships on March 8.
The third place finish earned Biffot First Team All-American recognition, marking the second-straight season the Red Hawks had an All-American in the triple jump, joining JABEZ THOMAS.
