Women’s Track & Field Kicks Off Outdoor Season at Ramapo College TF Invitational

Mahwah, NJ- The Montclair State University women's outdoor track and field team kicked off its season on day one of the Ramapo College TF Invitational on Friday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

KELLY WITTERS saw the highest placement on day one for Montclair. She placed 7^th in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 14:49.58.
JESSICA HOLLER had the other top-10 finish for the Red Hawks when she placed ninth in the javelin with a mark of 27.32m (89' 0.75"). Joining her in the event was Izzie DeCrease, who was just outside the top 10 at 26.20m (85' 11").
CHLOE BRIJBAG posted a 12th-place finish in the shot put with a distance of 9.32m (30' 7"). She was followed by JULISSA OTTO, who collected a mark of 8.61m (28' 3").
Both CAITLIN WITTERS and ALISSA TAYLOR each compted in the 5000-meter run today. They finished back-to-back with Witters placing 21^st (21:50.98) and Taylor at 22^nd (21:55.04).
