Ithaca, NY- Montclair State University Women's Indoor Track and Field freshman MCKAY ALBY broke the 60-meter dash program record and earned a podium finish to highlight the final day at the AARTFC Regional Championship.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Alby made the cut for today's finals with a time of 7.78, which was .01 seconds off her own school record of 7.77 that she ran at this year's NJAC Championship. She proceeded to break it with a time of 7.73 and placed sixth among the field. She also ran a 26.09 200-meter dash that placed 18^th.
• JULIA ACEVEDO competed in the triple jump event and posted a 10.74m (35' 3") mark. That was good for a 13^th-place finish.
• MAYA YESALONIS placed 34^th among competitors in the weight throw when she hit a distance of 13.01m (42' 8").
• The 4x200 relay team consisting of Alby, ALEXA ALI, MAILE O'NEILL, and MICHELLE ITOUA capped off the day with a podium finish of eighth when they clocked a 1:47.30. That time was a team-best time on the season.
