Geneva, OH – HIVEN BIFFOT placed second in the Triple Jump to lead the way for the Montclair State University men's track & field team competed at the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Biffot led off the day with a mark of 15.32m in the event, taking an early lead. He jumped 14.80m and 15.00m over his next two attempts, putting him in front of the group going into the second set of jumps.
• In the final portion, Biffot notched marks of 14.85m, 15.03m, and 15.02m to finish tied for the lead in the event with his initial mark of 15.32m. Due to a tiebreaker, he placed second in the event and finished as a First Team All-American.
• JABEZ THOMAS placed 18th in the event with a mark of 14.23m to round out the group for Montclair.

INSIDE THE RESULTS

• Biffot became the first outdoor All-American in the Triple Jump for Montclair since Earnest Tymes in 2002. He also marked the program's first outdoor All-American since 2018 (George Alexandris).
