GABRIEL DAYON and
DAMJAN DIMITROVSKI collected Academic All-District honors for 2025.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Track & Field Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
In order to be eligible for the Men's Track & Field academic All-District team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in eligibility, maintain a 3.5 or above GPA, and must have placed in the top 50 in their respective region in an individual event.
Dayon, who has a 3.98 GPA as a sports communication major, earned his spot on the All-District team when he placed 13
th in the Metro Region in the Javelin throw. His 50.68m (166' 3") was achieved at the NJAC Championships on May 3, where he also placed fifth in the event. His 50.68m throw is his second-best career throw behind the 51.39m (168' 7") he threw last March 29 in 2024 at the Ramapo College T&F Festival.
Dimitrovski, who holds a 3.91 GPA as an exercise science major, notched his spot on the list with two separate placements. His 2:01.23 indoor time in the 800-meter run ranked 34
th in the Metro region, and his 1:56.13 during the outdoor season ranked 22
nd in the Metro region. His outdoor time of 1:56.13 was a career-best mark that he achieved on May 12 at the Widener Final Qualifier.
