Rowan comes into the season as the team to beat after winning the NJAC title in 2024.
The Red Hawks concluded 2024 with a 12-5-2 overall record and a 6-2-1 NJAC record, which earned them the No. 2 seed in the NJAC Tournament and a first-round bye. They fell in the semifinals to visiting Stockton, 2-1, to place themselves third in the final standings.
The quest for the program's 16
th NJAC title, a feat they accomplished just two years ago in 2023, begins on Friday, August 29, when Montclair State University travels west to Tennessee for a 5:00 pm matchup with Sewanee.
