SCOUTING NEW JERSEY CITY
The Gothic Knights enter the conference opener with a 6-2-0 overall record and are on a three-match win streak after defeating Centenary (NJ), 5-0 on Tuesday. In 2024, NJCU compiled a 7-6-8 overall record with a 2-4-3 NJAC record that qualified them for the conference tournament. They made it past the quarterfinals after a 0-0 tie and an advance on penalty kicks against Stockton (4-2), but fell in the semifinals to the eventual conference champions TCNJ, 2-0. The Gothic Knights qualified and competed in the ECAC Tournament as well, winning against Juniata, 2-1, but falling to the eventual champion Hartford, 5-0. According to the 2025 NJAC Preseason poll, Jersey City is slated to finish seventh this season.
