Pitman, NJ- Announced on Monday afternoon by the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC), Montclair State University men's soccer goalkeeper DIESEL FIORE earned NJAC Defensive Player of the Week for his performances in week 2.
 
Fiore had a clean sheet weekend for Montclair State. He made three saves on Friday during a 1-0 win against Swarthmore and then came back and made two saves and earned his third shutout of the season in a 1-0 win against Manhattanville. Diesel has only allowed one goal in four games so far this season.
 
Diesel earned his first career NJAC Player of the Week award and the first for men's soccer this season.
