Montclair, NJ- The Montclair State University women's swimming and diving team will honor its 10 seniors for Senior Night before returning to action in a dual meet against New Paltz on Friday night.

LAST TIME OUT

Montclair competed last at the Gettysburg Invite on December 6, where they placed second out of six teams and accumulated 697 points. The morning session started with a fourth-place finish in the 200 medley relay. The team of ABBY PANZARELLA, MARIANNE TASSINARI, MADELINE ROGERS, and TESSA DEVONE combined for a time of 1:50.61. Tassinari went on next to earn her second individual win of the weekend, outracing the competition in the 400 IM when she clocked a 4:36.58. Montclair took four of the top five spots with Panzarella placing third (4:43.26), KACIE GADZINSKI notching fourth (4:48.61), and Leticia Laynez finishing fifth (4:51.26). In the 100 fly, ROURKE PERALTA earned a second-place finish with a time of 58.41. She was followed by Rogers, who placed fourth with a time of 58.78. SADIE CRISPELL was the top-five finisher for Montclair in the 100 breast. She clocked a 1:10.47 that finished fifth. Panzarella also earned herself a fourth-place finish in the 100 back with a time of 59.99. She also kicked off the evening session with a fourth-place time of 2:10.70 in the 200 back. Peralta notched herself a third-place finish in the 100 free with a time of 51.78. Tassinari had another exceptional showing when she clocked a 2:26.21 for a second-place finish in the 200 breast. Rogers notched herself another top-five finish in the evening session when she touched the wall third in the 200 fly (2:09.89). The Red Hawks wrapped up a successful weekend with a second-place finish in the 400 free relay. The quartet of Devone, Peralta, Tassinari, and CATTY GEYER finished with a time of 3:37.68.
