Philadelphia, PA- The Montclair State University indoor track and field team opened up the Schuylkill Showcase on Saturday with its throwers.  
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The day was led by BRYAN ALVAREZ, who placed 11^th in the shot put with a distance of 13.26m (43' 6"). He was followed by JABRI JOSEPH, who placed 13^th with a throw of 13.05m (42 9.25").
• Also competing in the shot put were NEO BERNABE and RANDY WORTHINGTON. Bernabe placed 22^nd with a distance of 11.18m (36' 8.25") and Worthington, who finished 23^rd with a mark of 11.07m (36' 4").
• The weight throw was led by Bernabe, who threw 11.52m (37' 9.5") for 21st. JAYDEN JENKINS notched 25^th with a distance of 11.02m (36' 2"), Joseph placed 29^th with a throw of 10.23m (33' 6.75"), and Nicolas Pietruszko finished 30^th with a mark of 10.12m (33' 2.5").
