Hampton, VA – The Montclair State University Women's Swimming & Diving team kicked off the 2026 NJAC Championships, earning 98 points on the first day. They stand in fifth with 98 points after the introductory session.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The 2026 NJAC Championships kicked off with the 200 medley relay. Representing the Red Hawks were ABBY PANZARELLA, MARIANNE TASSINARI, MADELINE ROGERS, and ROURKE PERALTA. They placed fifth in the event with a time of 1:47.50.
• The 800 free relay finished off the day, where the quartet CATTY GEYER, AMELIA FANNING, DEVYN FORD, and Leticia Laynez combined for a team time of 7:58.63. That time was good for a sixth-place finish.

The conference championship meet will heat up on Friday, February 13, for the second day. The preliminary meet is slated for 9:30 a.m., with the final's session set for 5:30 p.m.
