New Orleans, LA- The Montclair State University women's indoor track and field team saw seven of its members receive All-Region accolades for their performances this winter season as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). It is the most selections they've had in recent memory.
The top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists earned an All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross-country season.
As a member of the Metro Region, securing these honors for Montclair were

Below are the events, times/marks, meets, and placements in the region that helped these student-athletes nab All-Region honors.
Synder, Ali, Guerrero-Dominguez, & Churchill- Distance Medley Relay, 12:38.84 at the AARTFC Indoor Track & Field Championships, fourth in the region.
Alby- 60-meter dash, 7.73 at the NJAC Championships, tied for third in the region
Martinez- High jump, 1.60m (5' 3") at the NYU Division III Invitational, sixth in the region
O'Neill- 60-meter dash, 7.73 at the NJAC Championships, tied for third in the region
All of these student-athletes received All-Region honors for the first time in their careers during the indoor season.
The Red Hawks wrapped up their indoor season and will transition to the outdoor season.
