New York, NY – Led by a record in the distance medley relay, the Montclair State University women's track & field team opened up competition at the AARTFC Championships on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Red Hawks were led by the group of LILIANA SNYDER, ALEXA ALI, ODALYS GUERRERO-DOMINGUEZ, and ABIGAIL CHURCHILL, who clocked in at a school record 12:38.84 in the DMR, placing 11th in the event. 
• In the 60m prelims, MAILE O'NEILL qualified for the finals with a time of 7.77 seconds, ranking eighth among the field. 

INSIDE THE RESULTS

• MCKAY ALBY notched a time of 7.82 seconds in the 60m, with AISHA GARCIA (8.01 seconds) and ALAIA-ZANII TAYLOR (8.32 seconds) rounding out the group.
