Philadelphia, PA – The Montclair State University Men's Track & Field team saw a pair of entries in the Penn Relays on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Red Hawks were led by the 4x100 relay team of SHELDON AGYEMANG, JAHMIR BEAL, ELIAS HANLEY, and JAYSON ELLIS, a group that clocked in at 41.51 seconds to win their heat and finish second in the event. 
• In the long jump, JALEN BALBUENA notched a mark of 6.85m to place 20th among the field. 

INSIDE THE RESULTS

• The time for the 4x100 relay team marked the second-best in the history of the program. Montclair's performance also saw them outperform four Division I schools in the event.
