Ewing, NJ – Gabe Dayon ranked fourth in the javelin throw to lead the way for the Montclair State University Men's Track & Field team at the TCNJ Rick McCorkle Invitational on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Red Hawks saw a season-best mark out of Dayon at 50.98m, notching a top five placement. MOHAMMED ABDALLAH ranked ninth in the event at 46.55m, with ALEX MOLANO (45.53m) and LEONARDO PALESCANDOLO (44.88m) close behind in 11th and 12th, respectively.
• JABRI JOSEPH notched a pair of top ten ranks, placing sixth in the discus throw (42.84m) and tenth in the shot put (13.77m).
• ETHAN PACHECO finished 18th in the 100m at 11.36 seconds and clocked a new personal-best in the 200m at 23.19 seconds. DJ McCarthy also registered a career-best time in the event at 23.13 seconds.

INSIDE THE RESULTS

• Molano's mark in the javelin throw was a career-best, with Abdallah and Palescandolo tallying new season-best marks.
• JOSEPH HADRICK clocked a personal-best time of 53.54 seconds in the 400m, with GAVIN CASELLA notching a season-best in the 800m at 2:09.46.
