Mahwah, NJ – Highlighted by a second place mark from BRYAN ALVAREZ in the shot put, the Montclair State University Men's Track & Field team competed at the second day of the 2026 New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Red Hawks saw Alvarez land on the podium with a mark of 14.56m in the shot put, ranking second among the field. Montclair placed three more in the top 15, as JABRI JOSEPH finished 10th at 13.15m, BENJAMIN SIESEL ranked 12th at 12.42m, and RANDY WORTHINGTON registered a 15th place mark of 11.25m.
• On the track, the 4x100 relay team of SHELDON AGYEMANG, JAHMIR BEAL, ELIAS HANLEY, and JAYSON ELLIS clocked in a time of 41.61 seconds to finish fourth among the field and notch an AARTFC qualifying time.
• Beal tallied an AARTFC time of his own in the 100m, finishing seventh with a time of 10.93 seconds.
• RONALD INGLETON registered a seventh place mark of 13.07m in the triple jump, and Joseph ranked seventh in the discus throw at 40.64m. NEO BERNABE ranked 12th among the field with a mark of 34.67m.
• The 4x400 relay group of JESSE BAIDOO, Hanley, Beal, and JOSEPH HADRICK ranked sixth in the event, recording a time of 3:28.24.
• In the 1500m, GAVIN CASELLA tallied a time of 4:25.24 to finish 15th in the event.

INSIDE THE RESULTS

• Montclair accumulated 38 points across the two-day event, finishing sixth among the field.
