Verrone was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week and Verrone picks up her first and Montclair's second NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honor this season after leading the Red Hawks to a pair of conference wins last week to remain in the playoff hunt. She drained seven goals and added an assist, while needing just 10 shots for the seven scores. She scored three times and assisted on another in the Red Hawks' 20-7 win over Ramapo, and followed up with a four-goal performance in a 17-6 win over third-place Stockton. Verrone is currently tied for sixth in the NJAC with 2.25 goals/game and also tied for sixth with 3.00 points/game against NJAC opponents.
