Burnett earned his third New Jersey Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week with a goal and three assists as Montclair State went 2-0, including a victory in the opening round of the NJAC Tournament. He assisted on MSU's second goal in the first half and then added a helper with 33 seconds left in 3-1 win at NJCU in the regular-season finale. Burnett then played a big role in the first round of NJAC Tournament win against William Paterson on Saturday. Down 2-0, he assisted on MSU's first goal in the 73rd minute and then score his biggest goal of the season, intercepting a back pass and scoring the tying goal with 3:39 left in regulation to force overtime. Montclair completed the comeback in the extra period for the 3-2 victory. Burnett currently leads the team and is ranked third in the NJAC in points scored (27) and fifth in goals (11).
