Upper Montclair, NJ(3/16/02) - Sophomore attackman
SEAN PEKARSKY (Clifton, NJ/Clifton) scored four goals and added an assist as Montclair State recorded a 10-4 victory over Neumann College in NCAA Division III Lacrosse action at Sprague Field on Saturday afternoon.

CHRIS MEIXNER (Hamburg, NJ/Vernon) added three goals for the Red Hawks (2-0), who jumped out to a 4-0 lead. JOHN MOORE (Philadelphia, PA/Roman Catholic) had a goal and an assist for the Knights (1-1), who opened their season with a 10-7 win over Kean on Wednesday.
NICK BOMBADIER (Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) got the Red Hawks on the board with 39 seconds left in the first quarter as he beat Neumann goalkeeper RICHARD BOULAY (Arnold, MD/Broadneck) inside the right goalpost. Meixner extended the lead to 3-0 in the second as he scored twice. Pekarsky netted the first of his four goals at 9:59 for a 4-0 Red Hawk advantage. Neumann finally got on the board with 42 seconds remaining in the half as BRETT HAYDEN (Crofton, MD/Archbishop Spalding).
Neumann pulled within 5-3 with at 8:27 in the third as Moore scored, however Montclair then responded with three straight scores by
MATT VON KLEMPERER (Summit, NJ/Summit), Pekarsky and Bombardier during a two-minute span.
VINNY DEGENNARO (Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) made 15 saves for Montclair State, which outshot Neumann, 42-34. Boulay had 19 saves for the Knights, who got two assists from RYAN ERDMAN (Fallston, MD/John Carroll).
