Radnor, PA (4/16/02) - The Montclair State men's lacrosse team today dropped a 20-3 decision at Cabrini College. The loss snapped the visiting Red Hawks' winning streak at four games, while the host Cavaliers (11-2) have now won 11 consecutive contests.
SEAN PEKARSKY (Clifton, NJ/Clifton) scored two goals for Montclair and
ANTHONY MOSCA (Clifton, NJ/Clifton) notched the other one.
KEVIN GONDRES (Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) had one assist for MSU while
VINNY DEGENNARO (Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn), mark Ferlanti (Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) combined for 22 saves for the Red Hawks.
MSU trailed, 9-0, after one half, and 12-1 after three quarters before Cabrini exploded for eight goals in the final frame.
MSU (8-3) closes out its home schedule on Sunday afternoon against Kings Point University in a crucial Knickerbocker Lacrosse Conference matchup at Sprague Field at 1:00 p.m.
