OSCAR SANCHEZ was chosen Rookie of the Year as Montclair State placed seven on the NJAC Men's Soccer All-Conference Team released on Wednesday.

Knapp becomes the sixth player in program history to be chosen Midfielder of the Year honors and the fourth in the last six seasons. It is the second consecutive First Team honor for Knapp, who recorded three goals and one assist in 12 games this season. He appeared in six conference matches, scoring two goals, including the game-winning goal against The College of New Jersey on October 26.
Sanchez makes it back-to-back Rookie of the Year selections for the Red Hawks and is the sixth in program history. He led Montclair State with 12 goals and one assist on the season, including a team-high six goals in nine NJAC matches. He closed out the season by notching goals in five of the final seven contests, including the game-winning goal against Stockton University on October 19. He also scored both goals in a 3-2 setback against Rowan University on September 28.
Huerta collects his second straight All-NJAC nod after picking up First Team honors last season. He registered five goals and two assists while adding three game-winning tallies. He opened the season with four goals and an assist in the first three games before adding a marker against TCNJ.
Johnson, Koroman, and Bianco were a part of the defensive unit that surrendered just 15 goals and had nine clean-sheets on the season. Koroman contributed a goal and four assists, including a pair in the season-opening win over Marywood University. Pelaez gains his second consecutive Honorable Mention accolade after registering two goals and three helpers in 15 games. He scored the game-winning goal in a 5-1 win over Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham on October 9 and collected the opening goal in a 3-1 win over TCNJ.
The Red Hawks return to action Wednesday evening, hosting Stockton University in semifinals of the NJAC Men's Soccer Championship Tournament at 7 p.m. Montclair earned a 2-0 victory in the previous matchup, with Sanchez and sophomore midfielder
BROGAN QUIGLEY notching goals.
