Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State men's soccer team is back in the national rankings again. The Red Hawks were ranked 15
th in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll.
It is the second time MSU has been tabbed in the national poll. Montclair, which is second in the South Atlantic Region, began the year at No. 8 but fell just outside after its 2-1 overtime loss to New York University on September 11.
Since then the Red Hawks have gone unbeaten in their last five, winning the last four contests outscoring their opponents 13-0. The latest victory came on Sunday, a 4-0 triumph at home versus Alvernia.
Montclair (8-1-1, 2-0 NJAC) is back in action Wednesday evening at home against Kean University in an NJAC matchup at 7:00 pm.
